You know at this point, I would not predict who is going to get the nomination. In 2012, many were guaranteeing that it was going to be Gingrich and many thought Sarah was going to run. Nobody knows but regardless someone will end up our candidate and we will either win or get Hillary. That is really the bottom line.

No, the bottom line is that even if nothing else happens with Cruz, he has changed the narrative, and moved it to a more conservative side.

That is part of what the 'conventional wisdom' misses.

You assume that Hillary! will get the nomination. Lots of 'conventional wisdom' does. And I reject that premise because no-one besides God knows what will happen in that race.
