It is a shame that those like me, Christian Conservatives who stand on the Word of God as the Word of God and everything else tradition, which can indeed be a bad thing as evidenced by the heresies of so many of Christiandom who do not hold to the Word of God being what God says it is, His Word to us for our growth in Godly wisdom and understanding. And our Father, God Almighty whose only begotten Son is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, has much to say about morality in the lives of His saved sinners, Christians, aka, Saints. Now that I know what only six senators of the once conservative republican party think about my rights and freedoms, I can say about them what I say about democrats some 40 years now, they are worthless fools and will no longer have my vote. I hope the whole party falls apart and then perhaps conservatives could start a conservative party that represents conservatives only. No more communist democrats or liberal rinos for me. No more John Boehners or Mitch McConnels for me. No more ignorant rino liberals telling me not to waste my vote. I wasted my vote on many worthless arrogant and ignorant rinos who have done less and less and spent more and more money doing it and I am done with the idiots, aka, idjits of the middle class doe doe brains now in the liberal rino gopee party.

The People do not want this. I am so tired of these bureaucratic fools. Of those tyrants in black. Of that moron in the White House. A few hundred idiots get to change thousands of years of traditions against the will of millions.

48 Republicans won’t defend normal marriage?

“only six of 54 Republican members of the Senate signed a pro-traditional marriage legal brief to the U.S. Supreme Court”

Senators can count votes like pimps can count money.

Any U.S. politician who objects to homosexual “marriages” now is finished.

This battle was over in 1970.

So 48 Gutless Old Party senators are siding with the 1% against 99% of the citizenry. They are that scared of Big News & Hollywood are they?

For all the knobs on this site on this issue, final clarity: The republicans have left ME. I wasn’t the one who caved and wants a bigger tent at the expense of my worldview, my foundational truths and beliefs, my conscience.

If the 17th Amendment had never been ratified then the entire Senate would probably have fired a “warning shot” over the heads of the Supremes by reminding activist justices that the Constitution’s silence about marriage means that marriage is a 10th Amendment-protected state power issue.

The Senate could also be expected to clarify that attempting to legislate the so-called “right” of gay marriage from the bench as justices did with the so-called “right” to have an abortion could result in their removal from the bench and a possible new amendment to the Constitution clarifying that no marriage other than traditional one man, one woman marriages are acceptable.

Actually, if the 17th Amendment had never been ratified then there would likely be all different faces on the Supreme Court today, conservative justices probably deciding not to accept the case in the first place because marriage is a 10th Amendment-protected state power issue.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.
