I hope those wild animals encounter an animal rights activist face to face.

This bear scene is from British Colombia. Outdoor ping.

(I know that there is no comparison between black bears and California brown bears, but...)

Back in 1982 I lived on Mizner Road and would go running up Huachuca Canyon Road for a couple of miles and then back down to my quarters. I was there for 6 months attending the military intelligence officer’s advance course. I haven’t been back there since that, but might visit again some day.

Good afternoon. I hope you are doing well.

Bear activity in FL (esp. Ocala Nat. Forest), around Orlando (Mt. Dora, Kissimmee and east) has been so bad that FL FWS has opened a bear season.

Here in Washington state our environazis are so crazed that they are planting some more grizzlies in the North Cascades. They did that a few years ago, too.

I always wonder how they would feel if a friend or family was killed by a grizzly.

It makes sense to me-since wildlife is usually found in wilderness areas, you’d think people would leave off hiking and biking in early Spring until the bears have been awake for awhile-and are not so hungry that even a noisy bicyclist looks good to eat...

People on bicycles and hikers who run always look good to mountain lions-yum-it triggers a predator response like a deer does-don’t ride, don’t run...
