Public School Serves Burned Burritos Covered in Melted Plastic

After Big Government has consolidated control of healthcare it will inevitably move on to food. For an idea of what this will entail, look to public schools, where food is already provided by the government:

Several students and parents shared photos of their recent disgusting cafeteria lunch at West Virginia’s Philippi Middle School.

They featured … severely burned burritos covered in melted plastic.

Don’t worry. Local educrats say it won’t happen again:

“I am aware of the situation that happened in Philippi Middle School regarding lunch and on behalf of the Board of Education and myself I extend an apology to the students and families that were involved with that and we are doing training to make sure that it doesn’t happen again,” Barbour County Schools Superintendent Joe Super tells WDTV.

He didn’t elaborate on what “training” is required to inform employees most human beings wouldn’t eat such a lunch.

Those who don’t want the government in charge of providing our daily bread will be shouted down with the proclamation that food is a human right, and that right must be guaranteed by the government, just like healthcare. You don’t the children to starve, do you?

This is our in to end the public school system as we know it. We need to start bringing food trucks to schools with little to no cost meals for the students. We get the money by gofundme.org. Force them to shut that down.....

That my friends is how you win wars against the left. Use their tools against them.

Didn’t the server REALIZE the plastic was still on it? (Aside from the burning) Bet that wouldn’t be served at the Stillwell (sp.) School!

Oh, the poor darlings at Sidwell Friends were not nearly so lucky.

The poor, precious "lower school" children had to endure:

And the Middle / Upper School darlings had to put up with the following:

I'm certain they'd have prefered a burrito...

“I extend an apology to the students and families that were involved with that and we are doing training to make sure that it doesn’t happen again,”

The above is the standard statement issued in matters great and small including situations in which human life is lost. It is interesting because it doesn’t actually mean anything. Anyone trying to use it 50 years ago would have been slapped around for being stupid.

Had lunch eight years ago at my son’s school, the grilled cheese uncrustables were heated up and served in their unopened plastic wrappers. Awful metallic tasting mushy sandwich. It’s how the prepare the food now.

When I went to school, I brought a paper bag, or Partridge Family lunch box, with a peanut butter sandwich, an apple and maybe some potato chips wrapped in tin foil. With a thermos full of milk.

When did it become standard to have lunch provided in school.
