I think many people almost immediately turn off Hannity when his guests (or Hannity himself) start the screaming and yelling. Whenever he has guests with opposing viewpoints who are going to "intelligently argue" some issue, it almost always devolves into a screaming, shouting match. My wife gets mad at me for having it on. And the crucial thing is that with all the shouting and name-calling, the issue itself never gets a fair hearing much less resolved.
Which is why I don't watch or listen to Hannity much anymore despite the fact that I like him. Rush, with no guests most of the time, is much more preferable. I just can't tolerate people shouting and screaming to make a point...no matter how valid their point is.
