There was a report something from outer space may hit Planet Earth in September, 2015, or fly right on by, they don't know. Gov policy is to keep deep space disaster reports secret since there isn't anything anyone can do to prevent a hit.

If the Army Corps of Engineers is planning on saving infrastructure and people in a future disaster while freeing up more soldiers to fight the enemy and lead the way for our great infantry, don't treat it like a curse or defame the Army Corps of Engineers.

Many of them (combat engineers, non-construction type) have fought and died for your freedom and lives. Why are you spitting on the deeds of men who've disarmed and cleaned up mines and booby traps with their bare hands for you and our country?

As has been stated upthread, disaster readiness is nothing new, so on the surface, this is usual bureaucratic and employment stuff.

Taken in a another vein, the posting states that Kennewick, WA is the place of duty. There is nothing there; Kennewick has no infrastructure. That allows any employee under this notice nearly unlimited travel pay, TDY, Family Sep - it’s a money faucet, a cash cow and plum job for whoever gets the post.

The job description in innocuous in and of itself - but when taken into account among the numerous other things this regime has done over the last six years in power, can any of us, in certainty, think of it as benevolence?
