I guess I’m missing something, but it just looks like an ugly statue to me-not something honoring satan or anything else-I wouldn’t want it in a prominent place outdoors where I live, but that is because it is f’in ugly-not because it is evil-sometimes an ugly statue is just an ugly statue...

Blucifer!
My youngest likes him and thinks he’s “pretty”, like an oversized My Little Pony.

The sculpture is downright nightmarish Sculpture was once put on public display to honor God(s), Kings, heroes-real and mythical or the great aspirations of mankind.
In recent history we have been putting things on display like what this article depicts.
What I see depicted in this art is the most vile of human nature and that is what I think the article really brings to light. Todays society no longer aspires to greatness but to lowest common instincts of our animal nature.
I think recent history backs me up on this.

Its called She Guardian, and Russian artist Dashi Namdakov has spent the last two years sculpting the towering figure out of four massive tons of bronze. Measuring 36-feet high, the artist says the attention-grabbing piece expresses a sense of maternal protectiveness, which we totally understand.
But heres the thing. ITS A FLYING DEMON DOG FROM HELL.
Sort of like the newspaper they named it after ...

Look up ‘Barmaley Crocodile’ for the story. I am on mobile and can’t type it out, but it is a story/poem about a crocodile who eats everything.

That looks like Pazuzu from “The Exorcist.”

I know a hilarious way to mess this up big time.
Spread a rumor among Britain’s Muslims that the government intends to force all Muslims to bow down to this statue as their “new god”.
12.4% of those who live in London are Muslims.

The dog sculpture looks quite a bit like Zuul the Gatekeeper of Gozer, from the Ghostbuster movies.
The Assyrian god sculpture memtioned/shown at the bottom is Pazuzu, the ancient god of Hot Wind. They should have placed it outside of Parliament.

Russia has no civilization. It is a perverse mafia state that’s only slightly better than Liberia. Their Christian pretensions is for stupid people in the West who don’t know what the moral condition of Russia is really like.

It looks as if one of the gargoyles on the “Ghostbusters” apartment building took off and crossed the pond.
