I spent many Saturday afternoons at the Arlo theater in Camden NJ watching old Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing Dracula movies. $0.50 was enough to get in and buy all the candy I wanted.
Ah,those were the days when going to the movies was fun. You’d get a lot for your money at the movies, then. Cartoons, mewsreels, short subjects, and double features occasionally. Nowadays? You have to pay a king’s ransom to see one movie(that is usually garbage)one time, and that’s it,except the previews. Not only that, the sound system is loud enough to deafen you.
