Nixon did a quick cameo on Laugh In in 1968 ... “Sock it to me???” IIRC it was just after the Democrats had their infamous convention in Chicago and it was so weird and out of character that it was memorable.
I will never forget that episode, nor how surprised I was.
Sigh.... the good old days, when Ruth Buzzi was on the TV and not the Supreme Court.
