It must be getting late.
I couldn’t figure out why Sammy Hagar cared whether Ted Cruz was liked by somebody named Adelson. :)

Ted Cruz & Walker & Rubio need a sugar daddy. Adelson or the Koch’s. Better with 2 or more sugar daddy’s to compete through all 50 primaries. We all know Jeb & Trump have money to last through 50 primaries. Christie’s sugar daddy is the Home Depot founder.

“Ted Cruz & Walker & Rubio need a sugar daddy.”

I commiserate, but I don't think that has to be the case. I'd like to think (maybe my naivete') that the little guy could come through in masses and drive a candidate to the finish line. After all, there are a lot more of us (and our dollars) than them. Maybe not? Did Reagan have mentors?

Trump is leveraged to his scalp to banks, so they own him. Plus, he needs to be in with the government for his projects. He's not going to spend any of his own $150 million to run.

Hey, you never answered my question to you the other day when you were trying to take me to task for bringing up the legitmate question as to why Trump IS STILL Silent concerning the Unconstitutional ruling that made Gay Marriage constitutional.

Furthermore, were you asleep during the whole TPA/TPP debacle where the threads were full of nonsense posts calling Ted Cruz a Traitor or bought by Goldman Sachs and other such nonsense?

Where were you??

Did you question any of the posters who were spamming threads with crap like he was doing everything for Goldman Sachs or he was a Traitor?

Ask that question to Trump. I am not his spokesperson. All I heard from him was “I am for a traditional marriage (man+woman is traditional)”. That is good enough for me.

When I talk to my friends and family, the main issue every one is concerned about is middle class jobs and illegals. Looks like Trump is honing on those two issue. May that is why he leap frogged 12 candidates into 2nd place so quickly?

I’m not talking about that.

You took me to case for pointing out that Trump has, of yet, taken a stand on the Unconstitutional SCOTUS Gay Marriage ruling. You stated you knew of no other thread had been created where a candidate, I believe in your words, was being “trashed” or maybe it was “Attacked”.

My question is to you, why had you not done that when all the Trump supporters were attacking Ted Cruz over TPA/TPP?

Why the double-standard on your part?

Certainly money does not guarantee success. Otherwise Meg Whitman should have won in CA. During Reagan’s period, there was no 24-7 cable TV. Today campaign cash is very helpful in spreading your message in expensive media markets in metro areas. Plus Reagan had a big advantage...he was running against Carter! Note that most candidates drop out from lack of money during primaries.

Why are you asking me why Trump has not railed against SCOTUS decision on gay marriage? May be Trump is smart and knows what the voter priorities are. I explained to you my main priorities are to be in tune with my friends and family needs. Which is middle class jobs. When my friends start railing about gay marriage, I will take up that issue as my top priority.

There is an old truism: If you owe the bank $10,000, they own you. If you owe the bank $1 million, you own them.

Trump operates on the latter plane.

That makes sense! But we do not all operate in the million dollar loans class, so it goes over our heads. But thanks for shining the light.

Still ducking the question entropy12.

Why take to task a poster pointing out a failing on Trump's part and not do the same for name-calling, emotional and non-factual posts by posters attempting to denigrate Ted Cruz?

I appreciate Adelson’s money, but not the influence he buys on gambling issues. The whole race for candidates (on both sides) to find their billionaire patron is pretty gross.

Well, I wasn’t a Romney fan, but at least he had money himself and wasn’t so dependant on a sugar daddy. Pick your poison - billionaire candidate or billionaire’s candidate.

Mr. Trump is not liquid so all this nonsense about “self-funding” is just that and Mr. and Mrs. Adelson support Senator Cruz due to his stance on Israel, not gambling.
