The term “war hero” doesn’t mean anything today. For that matter, even the word “hero” doesn’t have the same meaning anymore. In other words, it depends on how you define war hero. McCain is a war hero as the term in used today. However it doesn’t imply that he’s done anything heroic.
That’s what Trump was saying... It all depends on what “is” is.
