I can tell you that after 30 years on the force the cop is probably very jaded about citizens. not entirely his fault given how they see the courts do nothing about the same people they have to keep dealing with, but it colors how they deal with regular citizens and it causes them to regard all non cops as miscreants and always lying to them. Ive seen it in my family and friends of family’s cops. very jaded and cynical. Sometimes like this cop, dangerous if you dont know what is coming your way.

Time for them to retire; find another way to make a living. The instant they forget that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS, they become unworthy of the uniform and dangerous to a free society.
