It was unclear what activity Trump was referring to that should have landed Rattner in jail. Trump did not respond to CNNMoney's request for comment.

In 2010, Rattner did pay $10 million in fines when he settled with the New York state attorney general for his alleged involvement in a pension fund scheme. At that time, Rattner escaped jail time whereas some others who were involved in the same scheme, such as former New York comptroller Alan Hevesi, did not....

Seems rather clear what activity Trump was referring to.

Seems crystal clear, and not only that, the payment of $10 million in fines makes it also quite clear that his involvement was not in the least bit “alleged.”

PLUS, Rattner was the one who got Obama to shut down any Republican(Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep) owned dealerships and give their business to Rattner’s dealerships.

Noticed that Chrysler is in the news today for not performing ‘recalls’ on a bunch of their trucks.
