That’s why I like modern lightweight snub nose revolvers for CCW, especially females. No springs to wear out, no slide to rack, no ejection issues, just pull the trigger.
A woman can put it in their purse, pull it out 5 years later and bang!

Clearing a jam in a life or death situation will probably mean death for most shooters.
So the lesson here is - go for the simple and reliable.

Some semis require 3 or 4 steps to go from secure to fire. A 70 year old woman with no experience cannot do that.
It told her; its ready always... point and pull the trigger... thats it.

Easy to do esp. if shooting one handed, even for a man.
J frame or similar all the way. Simple, foolproof(almost), reliable.
I’m a man and that’s why my CCW weapon is a S&W .357 magnum snubbie with a shrouded hammer. Indeed, I recommend a revolver to most peoples who want to carry concealed for your very reasons.
