This upcoming Monday evening, August 3rd, the U.S. Senate will vote on a bill (S. 1881) sponsored by Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) 67% that would stop taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.
In the latest reportable year, Planned Parenthood received $528 million – over half a billion dollars – in taxpayer funding.
During that same period, they performed 327,653 abortions, and have performed just under one million abortions (988,783) over the last three years. And now, a series of undercover videos allegedly show that Planned Parenthood uses the banned partial birth abortion procedure to harvest and sell the body parts of aborted children, including hearts, lungs, liver, and heads.
It’s important to note that while Sen. Ernst’s bill would defund Planned Parenthood, it would make that same funding available to other entities that provide all the same services Planned Parenthood does (and usually more), but don’t perform abortions. So any claim that this bill would “cut funding for women’s health” is simply false.
With Monday’s vote coming up, all 100 U.S. Senators need pressure.

Since Thursday, I have heard at least a dozen ads on Indianapolis Radio saying to “call Donnelly and tell him to support Planned Parenthood, and women’s health!”

That’s what Obama did in 2010, ordering funding for embryonic stem cell research. A federal district court judge overruled federal funding for that purpose, so the Demon rats appealed and in 2011 had one of their appellate courts reversed and upheld funding.

01/02/2013 - Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), who will return to Congress on Thursday one year after suffering a major stroke, said that he saw angels while recovering in the hospital last year.
In an interview with the Daily Herald published Wednesday, Kirk said that before he woke up from a medically induced coma, three angels appeared at the foot of his bed and asked if he wanted to come with them.
“No,” Kirk said. “I’ll hold off.”
“I would say that I definitely became much more religious,” Kirk said. “They say there are no atheists in foxholes, and this stroke put me into a very deep foxhole. Yet, that feeling of faith sustained me, so I have no feelings of anger or regret.”

I know with my upbringing in life I shouldn't say this but if he has no rules and does what he wants, why do we have to do what the government wants us to do? Yes I know this is Tierney but come on, why are there rules for some and not for others, it didn't used to be that way....
If congress is really serious about stopping this butchery of the innocents, all they have to do is stop funding PPH, just like the Democrats who had control of congress during the VietNam War did consequently no money for the war effort in VietNam and we ran with our tails between our legs thanks to the Democrats.
IF S.1881 IS PASSED,
No Federal funds may be made available to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, or to any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, or clinics.
All funds no longer available to Planned Parenthood will continue to be made available to other eligible entities to provide women’s health care.

Unfortunately, we have to a congress filled with conservatives without a set. All we have is a congress filled with “politicians” looking out for themselves and all the bucks they can make as professional politicians.
Where do we find a list of senators who take donations from planned parenthood? That list needs out now. Continue the attack.
