Now I’m confused. He’s(dsc) stumping for Trump and then states: “Not only should military service be a prerequisite for office, including bureaucracies, it should be the only way to earn the franchise.”

Trump needs to do more to call attention to his courageous service under fire then. I was unaware he served.

Oh wait: Trump came of age for the draft during the Vietnam War. In an interview in 2011 on New York station WNYW,[26] he stated, “I actually got lucky because I had a very high draft number.”[27] Selective Service records retrieved by The Smoking Gun from NARA records show that, although Trump did eventually receive a high selective service lottery number, he was not drafted earlier because of his student deferments (2-S) while attending college, and after receiving a medical deferment (1-Y, later converted to 4-F) prior to the lottery being initiated.[28]

He “actually got lucky”. Not because dad had money or connections or anything.

It was as though a light was switched on when I read how Sundance at the conservative treehouse laid out the plan to get Yeb the nomination by splitting the primary voters in so many different directions. I dare anyone to refute the conclusion that he’s laid out here. Why else would so many that know they haven’t a snowball’s chance in hell to win the nomination jump into the primaries, other than to split the votes (and delegates) from their “home town crowd” that can later be given to Yeb at the convention?

For that reason, I’m going to include the link you just provided,

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/08/09/gope-2016-road-map-to-victory-tree-house-challenge/

as well as its’ accompanying article explaining exactly how Super-Pacs are being used by the big money people buying our politicians.

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/08/08/following-the-money-campaign-moves-the-cocwall-street-roadmap-and-candidate-expectations/

From the article, “The professional political class simply don’t need you, me, or our money, any more.”

For everyone that’s claimed that no matter what, everything leading up to the conventions is nothing more than “smoke and mirrors” because it’s already been pre-ordained, the GOP nominee is going to be Yeb.

The only one that can wreck this plan is Donald Trump and explains, at least to my mind, why the establishment is so set on getting him out of the race. He’s the only one that doesn’t need the Super-Pac money and I don’t think he can be bought at the expense of America like so many of the current and recent past politicians have.

My first choice in this race was Ted Cruz, but I don’t think he has it in him to overturn the money changers table the way Trump will. I don’t think any of the others have the will or desire to return us to the Constitution.

America has been on this downward trajectory since our beloved Ronald Reagan left office and even though he doesn’t have a long term record of conservatism, I think Trump is our last, best chance to return a spirit of American exceptionalism to this country before it’s too late.

“You shut down the magnets and many of those who are here illegally would self deport.”

True, and that would be a good start. However, to get rid of the real undesirables more would be required.

A person found within the United States, having entered illegally or having overstayed a visa, shall:

1. Receive fifty lashes on the back with a cat o’nine tails.
2. Be branded on both cheeks with the letter “B” for “border crasher,” said brand to be two inches tall.
3. Forfeit all monies and properties earned or amassed in the United States, wherever located.
4. Walk from where apprehended to the Mexican border on a diet of beans and tortillas, sleeping in the open.
5. While returning to Mexico, ejectees shall be guarded by armed men on horseback, and shall be shot on sight if attempting to escape.
6. On their journey, ejectees shall pick up trash, cut grass with scythes and other unpowered tools, trim roadside shrubbery, clean rest area toilets, and perform such other tasks as may be ordered, said tasks not to be unduly hazardous.
7. Any person seen with the letter “B” branded on the cheeks who is not a member of a guarded ejectee party may be shot and killed on sight by any U.S. citizen at any time.
8. Idiots may offer ejectees food and water if they like. The penalty for providing ejectees with arms or assisting them to escape shall be death by firing squad, following a guilty verdict in a trial to be conducted by three officers of the U.S. military.
9. Any attempt to bribe a guard is punishable by death, following a guilty verdict in a trial to be conducted by three officers of the U.S. military. A bribe can be monetary or in the form of goods and services, especially including carnal services.
10. Any guard accepting a bribe shall be executed following a guilty verdict in a trial to be conducted by three officers of the U.S. military.
11. When ejectees enter Mexico, U.S. Army or Marine ground forces shall be on site. If the Mexican government or organized crime attempt to stop the ejectees from returning to Mexico, U.S. ground forces shall engage and defeat them. Mexican government forces not killed in the engagement shall be allowed to flee if they surrender or abandon the fight. Gang members shall be killed to the last man, if possible.
12. After the great majority of illegal aliens have been ejected, two fences 20 feet tall and 50 feet apart shall be erected on the Mexican side of the border. The area between the fences shall be heavily planted with anti-personnel mines. Motion-sensor controlled machine guns shall be emplaced at intervals such that interlocking fields of fire can be brought to bear, leaving no gaps.
13. The organization known as “La Raza” and all similar groups are hereby designated domestic enemies of the Constitution. Active membership in such organizations shall be punished by death.

Announce that and see how long it takes them to self-deport.

I can’t disagree with anything you typed.

I will say I’m not a fool about trump. He’s way way way way more liberal than any candidate I could ever actually viscerally support.

however, he is an american. I question the american’ness of any of the uniparty members.

I thought, initially, that trump was the stalking horse for one or more of the establishment candidates. I don’t think that anymore. The sheer number of barking dogs being arrayed against him discounts that assumption.

I hope, for his sake, that his 757 doesn’t have a center fuel tank.

My dad and 3 of his brothers pooled their money to send the youngest brother to college during the draft.

Does that make them cowards?

They weren’t hippy war protestors but funnily enough didn’t think youngest brother should be cannon fodder for...what exactly did we accomplish in vietnam?

Where in the world did you get that?

I never said you were a coward if you didn’t serve. Another poster said that Ted Cruz was “weak” and basically said unless you’ve served you should be unqualified to be President. Well here it is in his own words:

“Not only should military service be a prerequisite for office, including bureaucracies, it should be the only way to earn the franchise.”

You Trump supporters are fighting with each other. And here I was looking for clarity and find anything but.

“FWIW, I’m a Cruz supporter as well, and have supported his campaign financially. As you and I know, Cruz is no GOPe ..”

..and Cruz has refrained from criticizing Trump. And flew out to meet with him before the debate. Why do you suppose that is?

I keep hearing this...that he is exposing them. The ONLY candidate exposing his colleagues was Cruz.

You say he can’t be bought and he will fight against these people...while he admits he BOUGHT most of them himself...so, is he now trying to fix the problem he helped create?

“You Trump supporters are fighting with each other. And here I was looking for clarity and find anything but.”

You’re making a huge assumption there.

And have clearly missed most of my recent posts.

“That certainly disqualifies a lot of people.”

Far more than it should. Perhaps it would motivate more yutes to serve their country.

“So then everybody that serves in the military is qualified to be President?”

That almost made my eyes cross. In logic, to say that all roses are flowers is *not* to say that all flowers are roses. To say that everyone qualified to be prez is a vet is *not* to say that all vets are qualified.

Did you not see that, or were you assuming that I must be stupid?

“Oh, BTW. What percentage of those in the Military actually have been fired upon?”

Don’t have the number at my fingertips. However small it may be, though, those are the men from among whom public officials should be selected.

“Or did you mean something other than what you said?”

Nope. Of course, that would result in a much smaller government.

While some of your ideas are intriguing, I have a REALLY RADICAL AND CRAZY IDEA: Why not just do what every other country does? Enforce our borders and existing immigration laws. I think that would do the trick.

Ok. Thanks for clarifying.

I think you’re wrong. But you know what “they” say about opinions.

You might want to respond to Black Agnes. He/She thinks I’m the one who thinks that those who didn’t serve are cowards.

And no, I don’t think you said that. Not directly anyway.

So, Trumps not qualified huh? Or shouldn’t be....or something?

According to dictionary.com, heretic is defined as anyone who does not conform to an established attitude, doctrine, or principle. How does that apply to me?

He could explain what he’s going to do on his first day as president and what he’s going to do in is first 100 days as president.

Well, heck, he's just gonna fix everything on his first day as President.

Because he's such a tough guy, and a great wheeler dealer, and he's willing to call fat broads fat broads, it'll just all get done!

And by the first 100 days, man alive, who knows?? He'll have fixed problems which we right now don't even know exist!!
