I found out about it too late, or I would have been present and voted NO ... primarilly because as a retired driver ... I protest city kitties having the power of DOT (which mostly are cities getting in some OT anyway ... all they need is a certification)
Discussing this with a friend who is a notary/registration/purchase/transfer guy ... HE said ... "It does no good because all the roads a local would have available to make a stop are state roads anyway"
Which leads me to think;
The government takeover is still in full swing and a lot of small local embeds are actively working to ... whatever .... take our guns ? .... arrest us ? ...
I don't know
What I know is .... my hamlet bought the scales, they're in the trunks of local cop cars and the money from any bust they make GOES TO THE STATE and not to we locals !
I'm still meditating on this and the preceding is a true account
Maybe we SHOULD be very afraid .... at least be aware !
Give the cops a break. They gotta raise some money to pay for their retirement toys since they get to retire at 50 something because we work to 80 something or we just die in the harness.
Public union goon pensions will be paid.
