One thing extremists of all stripes have in common is there's homosexual encounters within those groups to one extent or another. Nazis', klansmen, ISIS, I believe somewhere in Bill Ayers' memoirs he said he and Bernie Dhorn had some close encounters of the perverted kind. So it would be no surprise that Roof, like Fester Flannigan are "that way".
