One of my favorite guitar mentors from way back. Dorian mode scales. Awesome stuff.
I block out the politics of these guys who run in circles I know basically nothing about except that they may think it matters, or that it might influence me. He's a great guitar player. Like Tchaikovsky, I'm a huge fan of his music. I'm not all in on his politics or his sexuality, or his philosophy, especially his view of the divine.
But my ears can discern divinely inspired music without the artist's knowledge or approval. God works that way. And I am greatfull for it. In my life like your's, we all do things that inspire other people and make them better or make them appreciate things we were privileged to be able to show them.
