Yes, if just passing through. Once you become a resident of a different state, the expectation (law) is you apply for a driver’s license in your new state, in fairly short order.
Need National Castle Doctrine and National Stand Your Ground laws, too. “Make Crime Dangerous for the Criminals!” should be the new motto.
