What you say would be true if we had actual debates. But again, it will be a Trump feeding frenzy. Don’t see a way he can skip, but man, if he, Carson, and Cruz would ALL agree to skip and have their own “forum” at the same time, it would crush the regular GOPe debate.
Trump could do his ‘own’ debate....he isn’t ‘owned’ by anyone, but Cruz and Carson are ‘owned’ and their ‘owners’ wouldn’t have any of this...
There is a way he can skip - the debate agreement or rules or whatever say if anyone participates in an UNsanctioned debate they are banned from all future debates. This is fraught with possibility..
