How many men go by a hyphenated last name?

The weirdest part of the last name is that his father’s name is Harper. Isn’t the dad’s name usually last? Who is Mercer?

Never known one, but then, I be old. Even the black guys I knew would likely be mystified.

Daily Mail reported that the perp was born in England. Males with hyphenated last names are much more common in England.
