What am I going to put on my fries now? Tartar sauce isn’t that available sometimes.

Ketchup is ok too....

I believe the Brits use malt vinegar.

And Canadian poutine, preferable the fries cooked in duck fat, uses a gravy, traditionally beef, but chicken is good too. They use [cheddar] cheese curds as well, but practically any shredded cheese will do.

I grew up on the Canadian border and early on I realized the ONLY thing you put on fries is malt vinegar. I tried poutine once-meh.

Mayo works great on BLT’s.
