Even if the DOJ didn’t get involved it seems like government is becoming a monolith with a single mind. I’m sensing that all levels of government are beginning to adapt Obama’s attitude on governance and are beginning to ignore legal boundaries to their authority.

For example I just received a property tax bill thats 18% higher than last years. Even though under CA Prop 13 they are limited to 1% increases per year. They simply are calling the increase ‘supplemental assessments’, not part of the ‘base tax’.

Illegal, immoral but they’re doing this kind of sh*t all of the time now.

My tax was lowered. I live in Imperial County, the poorest county in California. We may as well be living in Mexico. I wonder if another form of wealth redistribution is afoot here.
