“Not Obama” is a much better platform than “MORE Obama”. The climate and condition of our country and the world today prove that!

Again, the fact that Romney did not have checkmarks in all of the right columns should not be a reason to not vote, or vote 3rd party, because of your “principles”.

I have more confidence in what a Romney presidency would have been, back in 2012 and esp now after Obama’s 2nd term lawlessness.

Have to disagree. A candidate doesn’t win by running as a negative, “Not X.” He wins by by giving folks something for which to vote. Romney utterly failed this test.

Also Romney’s history did not inspire confidence in conservatives. He inflicted the prototype of ObamaCare on the people of Massachusetts (mind you - they deserve it!) and his choice of judges in MA was horrendous. He make what claims he likes about his conservatism, but there was NOTHING to back up those claims.

A Romney presidency might have been better than Obama, but it would not have been much better. AND it would reward the GOP for another squishy moderate candidate. Likely the next one would be even worse. If the GOP wants our votes (and I have doubts about that) it is best to make the work for it. Throw us a bone or lose. Sounds fair to me.

BTW: I held my nose and voted McCain and Romney. Not proud of it. And I won’t do it again. No Jeb. No Christie. No Kaisich. Fortunately, all of ‘em are in the single digits.
