FYI, A bear in your back yard killing a deer is, by definition, a danger to both you and your family. If successful, the best will consider it a safe place to hunt. So, you kill it. That’s called self-defense. Period.

The backyard in the video looks more suburban than rural.
The video says it was shot in Colorado.
We have been having issues recently, here on the Colorado front range, with bears coming into suburban areas looking for food and killing pets.
A bear is not a raccoon, he can’t actually live and hunt in a suburban area long term.
A local man is currently facing charges for shooting a bear in a suburban area while it was attacking his dog.
I have to pay taxes whether animal control comes out and does its job or not.
If this bear was attacking my dog, it would be worth the legal hassle to shoot him, for a deer it is not.
Period.
