I was at our local nursing home where my wife is
a resident.Imagine there were 200 or more great
couples who brought their kids trick or treating.
The staff brought sacks of treats for all patients

I've always just assumed that the modern Halloween must have been invented by Marxists. There's just something idiotic about dressing your kids up and sending them around your neighborhood begging for crap that isn't any good for them anyway.
Halloween actually has its beginnings in the Catholic faith. To remember the lives of their departed saints, people were encouraged to dress up like them on religious holidays. Thus, costuming was born.
My kids didn't bring home any candy corn this year. I was disappointed.
When you think about it, children can be allergic to almost ANYTHING you give out to them.

There are a lot of horrible things going on in our reprobate society and this article touches on some.
Halloween did not cause that.
The nastier aspects of how Halloween is celebrated now came from the psychopathic society.
Stopped reading after the first reason. Even people in the early 20th century celebrated Halloween. This was back when people generally had morals. Halloween is just a fun little holiday like St. Patrick’s day.
Does the celebration of Halloween bring honor and glory to God?

Personally, I always found helping my wife out of her costume was the highlight of the holiday.
