That is just offensive on every level. Besides, if we really care about these people and about our own budget AND SAFETY we would help them closer to their own home so they can move back there once the ISIS problem is resolved.

Religion is not race and simply because you discriminate against someone of a different race because of their actions and beliefs, that doesn’t mean you’re racist. It means you’re trying to protect yourself.

There’s something here that I can’t put my finger on. But it revolves around teens just wanting a better life and why are we denying them that. Isn’t that what illegal immigrants want? Couldn’t one argue they’re also refugees?
America isn’t ours to give away or even to share. We’re custodians of a country our ancestors died to preserve. And in order to preserve our Constitution and pass it down to our children we need to abide by it. As Trump says, it’s about laws. If we trash our laws and open our borders for every disadvantaged population in the world, we will have failed at guarding our country and the America we inherited will be gone.
It’s not a matter of our compassion it’s a matter of our responsibility.
