I wanted this thread to remain and I (mistakenly) thought (because I HAVE seen it before) that if I had mistitled it .. (Like I had originally done, in order to capture the eye of the reader ... "Jihadists enter N.O., don't even say thanks and disappear") ... I would be lambasted by humblegunner (or other(s) about changeing the title)

So I left the original (boring) title with no excerpt and you can be DAMNED sure it'll never happen again

Always leave the original title. It is needed for the search.

Otherwise we get the same article multiple times with the discussion broken up and people interested missing out on the other discussions.

Best is to include the title and enough information to have a meaningful discussions. Don’t excerpt if it is not on the excerpt list.

If the goal is to get the information to the most people, bring the information here.
