The problem with Franklin Graham, as good a man as he must be, is that he...well...he is a man of faith that seems to have no faith in God answering his prayer, no virtue of hope....the virtue of hope is to have it in earthquake and eclipse, as Chesterton says, not just in the morning. Faith and hope. It’s not just “unless we fight”, it’s “fight”.
Certainly don’t mean lack of faith in the manner of his belief in Jesus.
I read what he stated in the last two paragraphs as “It is up to our children to correct this situation that WE caused, by allowing it to happen, not God.
