“Every state will become like California,”

I just escaped Mexifornia and that’s why I’d rather have Trump than Reagan at this point and on this issue.

Mexifornia is ruined. So is Texas, I escaped there before escaping mexifornia. English is rare in either state and whites are discriminated against.

Trump is 100% more conservative on illegal immigration than any other candidate.

By most accounts, Romney was more to the right than 08. Rush talking up Romney was to undermine McCain. Because he thought Santorum and Newt were more conservative than Mitt, suddenly Mitt no longer fit the defnition. It was all about pushing an outcome vs a true reading of ideology.

“Something you have to remember about Rush....He has a hard time with the recognizing a conservative. In ‘08 he noted that Romney represented the 3 legs of conservatism.”

And he backed W all the way - through amnesty, through expanding Medicare, through reckless spending.

“I don’t think in the ‘big’ scheme of things Rush really cares about borders, illegal immigration, H-1B, off shoring, de industrialization and gloBULLism in general. These things do not bother a libertarian, like Rush.”

He backed W all through his push for amnesty and vilifying the conservatives in the House that stopped it. So I don’t doubt you are right.

Rush making it clear today has not backed any candidate even though some take it like he does. Some scolding done today.

What is sure about Cruz?

He has been silent about illegal immigration until just recently. And his current plan to deal with illegals here is vague.

I was just told by a Cruzan here that Cruz is against mass deportations. That would explain his vague reference to what he’d do with them. Them getting to stay equals amnesty.

Cruz is much less a known entity on illegal immigration than any other candidate.

That’s why I want Trump/Cruz. Trump will take care of the biggest problem that Cruz won’t even talk about. Then Cruz will be in place to handle things after. (Assuming he’s not completely pro-amnesty and won’t let more in.)

Sounds like your plan is to put in a business-as-usual politician that will compromise his way to liberalism.

You don’t get that Trump’s appeal is that he is NOT one of those.

If you’re trying to say Cruz would do better - without actually saying it - what has he gotten done in Congress? Nothing, that’s what. He’s an outsider as well, while being inside. I think his lack of policy on the illegals here is perhaps his way of compromising? See, it’s not pretty to ‘get along’. One has to sell their soul.

There's no reason to do mass deportation when self-deportation will do the job. As someone else here said, the first order of business is to halt illegal immigration at the border.

The left likes to conflate securing the border with deportation. But Cruz wants to focus on securing the border first. Cruz will also enforce existing immigration laws and do what he can to prevent illegals from receiving free stuff. Those two things will result in significant self-deportation.

From his web site.

“Trump maybe the only candidate willing to declare US bankrupt. I don’t see Cruz or any other candidate willing to do this”

That’s a bizarre statement.

Cruz’s tax plan doesn’t take in more money than Trump’s. It does punish companies more, so it will stifle expansion in that regard.

But look at the campaigns - Trump is the frontrunner with spending a fraction that the others have spent. He manages money well.

He’s also ran a business and knows about profit and loss and not spending more than you have. Politicians know about spending other people’s money and considering it a bottomless pit.

“-—go around the establishment/media when necessary to ask supporters to light up their representatives.”

That’s exactly what I expect. He’ll twitter, have interviews, get the message out of what he wants to accomplish and who is stopping it, complete with phone numbers ;)

“Those who vote for Cruz KNOW how he will govern ...”

Nope, I have no cd what he will do with the illegals here. He has been silent on this for months, saying Americans don’t want to discuss it. Well, I did and switched to someone who was so condescending to me and who was clear on what he wanted to do.

Cruz has finally said something about it, except to be vague on what he would do with the illegals here that I still have no clue what he would do.

If anyone thinks they ‘know’, they are just hoping. He could give them citizenship. nobody knows.

Yes, I’ve read his policy. It is quite vague.

Trump’s plan is like Eisenhower’s he said, in which 25% were deported and the rest left. With out the fear of deportation, many will stay. Crime, Catholic Charities, they’ll survive on us somehow. They need to know they might be removed.

Cruz’s plan IS better than the other candidates’ other than Trump. That’s why I’m for Trump/Cruz. We do need Trump to handle the situation head on, then Ted can take over.

Romney gave the most conservative speech he ever gave at the 08 CPAC, right after he had pulled out of the race versus McCain. It was almost pure Reagan. Nothing he did in 2012 was anywhere close.

With the country going to the right, Mitt veered back to the left.

Trump has the support of the antiGOPer base, like me.Trump is right on immigration, illegals, border security, deportation, anchor babies, and about the long-term harm the cheap labor express is doing to America, etc. No one is better than Trump on this. If he is elected and builds the wall, deports them all, ends anchor babies and derails the cheap labor express, then that alone makes America great again whereas any of the GOPe amnesty pimps would simply hasten our demise.

And if his Reaganesque plan to drastically cut taxes, cut spending, cut the regulations, cut the government, cut the government overreaching, cut the bureaucracy, cut the red tape, cut the globalism, cut the rotten deals, cut the crap is implemented, then that will make America great again and keep it great.

And if, like Reagan, he rebuilds the military and makes it the most powerful and effective force for defense of freedom again, then that will keep America secure and make it great again.

And he is a Christian who loves our Judeo-Christian God and way of life (including capitalism), and he is upfront and forceful in speaking out against the growing Islamic scourge on the planet. No other candidate is as great about defending our Judeo-Christian faith, society and system of government, equality and justice as Donald Trump. And I do believe he means business. And this above all else will ensure the very survival of our country as a free nation and will make us great again (prayerfully, within the will of God).

Plus he is funding this primary effort mostly with his own money rather than corporate, PAC, or cheap labor express or GOP big money donor and string pullers.

Now, where was I going with all this? Oh, yeah, if that aint conservative, what is?

Go, Trump, GO!!

Go, Cruz, GO!!

May the best men win.

We win, they lose.
