I am a 50 ‘something’ transplanted southern male living now here in ‘East’ California (Otherwise know as the land of ‘entrapment’ New Mexico) No green, no water, no catfish, no sweet tea in other words southerner HELL.
I draw maps mostly based on various books as a hobby and manage a warehouse for a major telecom concern to pay the bills.
I am basically a deist who believes that our forefathers did mean it when they said that our creator grant us certain rights and those documents that they wrote are as sacred to me as the Ten Commandments, for are they not both instructions on how to best live our lives? So to me the Constitution of the United States is no more a living breathing document than the Ten Commandments are both should be viewed as steadfast, both written in stone.
My philosophy of life is best discribed by James P. Owen’s Code of the West:
1. Live each day with courage.
2. Take pride in your work.
3. Always finish what you start.
4. Do what has to be done.
5. Be tough, but fair.
6. When you make a promise, keep it.
7. Ride for the brand.
8. Talk less and say more.
9. Remember that some things aren’t for sale.
10. Know where to draw the line.
