Thanks to the President for waiting for the San Bernardino police to conduct their investigation so he doesn't prejudice any prosecutions.
And thanks for pointing out the fact that not every single solitary, teeny, tiny, eensty weenie news item needs to be commented on by the President of the United States.
Another President was known for keeping his mouth shut. Yet Calvin Coolidge was known as an elegant speaker when he did decide to open his mouth.
"Do the day's work. If it be to protect the rights of the weak, whoever objects, do it. If it be to help a powerful corporation better to serve the people, whatever the opposition, do that. Expect to be called a stand-patter, but don't be a stand-patter. Expect to be called a demagogue, but don't be a demagogue. Don't hesitate to be as revolutionary as science. Don't hesitate to be as reactionary as the multiplication table. Don't expect to build up the weak by pulling down the strong. Don't hurry to legislate. Give administration a chance to catch up with legislation." -- Have Faith in Massachusetts as delivered by Calvin Coolidge to the Massachusetts State Senate, 1914
The President wants to have considerable influence after his term of office has concluded. Maybe he needs to catch up with the Clintons' $3 billion.
One could imagine the President without anyone listening to him or quoting him.
President Obama did not wait. He immediately called for infringements on the Second Amendment.
I’m guessing sarcasm’s afoot.
Curious George pranking with a mirror.
Doesn’t that pic say all you need to know about him? :-)
