Most Christians don’t believe in the rapture, it isn’t an essential doctrine of Christianity.
“Among those denominations which also do not teach the “rapture” in the Evangelical sense, as an event separated from Christ’s second coming: Catholic, Orthodox, Church of England/Episcopalian, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Messianic Jews , Quakers, Seventh Day Adventists”

If by the “Rapture” you mean the First Resurrection at the Last Trump, you are full of unspeakable stuff!
It is an absolute foundational element of our gaining eternal life.

The rapture theory is only 200 years old. The church for the first 1800 years didn’t recognize it. The theory is usually credited to John Darby, but it really was started by the Edward Irving in 1820. SDA ‘s have a few quirks, but when it comes to the second coming they are completely orthodox.
Yep. For the first 1800 years of Christianity no one heard of a “Rapture” as presented in the “Left Behind” novels, etc. They believed in a Second Coming but there was no doctrine that Christ would return multiple times or in stages somehow, sometimes returning secretly or partially. There was no doctrine that the Church was a “parenthesis” or kind of a “Plan B.” There was no doctrine that Christ would return to re-establish the Law, including animal sacrifices in a rebuilt Temple.
