We need a two, three, perhaps five year moratorium on legal immigration with some exceptions, but stop immigration and give this nation an opportunity to get a handle on who is here, who's overstayed their visas and give illegal aliens a six month window to register with authorities or leave. If they are caught after the registration period, mandatory five years in jail and stiff fine to give them a lil incentive.
