Cornyn (TX) has a conservative rating as well, and he is a RINO sh*t. These politicians get very good at constructing a veneer of conservatism and vote just at the right time on the right issues to appear such, but then cave when the Dems tell them to.

For ex, and really, I'm not bashing Cruz, but he has a 100% ACU rating. Really? How? With a vote for Corker and TPP? So, obviously ACU must support those two bills.

Correct, they trade votes on some things to cover each other..they skip votes, cut deals with dems etc.
