You are doing the exact same thing to people from Southern states that Trump and the media falsely accused Cruz of doing to people from New York.
Everyone with a brain knows Cruz wasn’t referring to first responders or 9/11 with his comments. Donald Trump is guilty of politicizing 9/11 to score political points.

True. New York is at the bottom of percentage of households that are two-parent families. New Yorkers also get married later (though the differences aren't so great as one might think -- age at first marriage falls in a 24-29 range for women, 26-30 for men, if you don't count Utah). Still, people in states like New York or Pennsylvania or Massachusetts do tend to get divorced less than people in states that are supposed to be more conservative.

Actually it’s because 80% of the people in New York now are immigrants, and immigrants (from just about anywhere) do much better than Americans at staying married.
