What Cruz does or doesn't do with regard to his wife and other women could easily have less to do with his integrity than with his understanding his target audience.
Rumors and tales about chasing skirt help a democrat with the democrat target audience and turn off the republican target audience. Curz is marketing himself to a different audience therefore some things are less of an indication of his overall ethics than they would be were he not making a career of marketing himself.
