I did not click on the article, but according to what was posted above, Trump merely seems to be saying he wants to “bring the country together”. Does he say something more specific?

That's what this portion of the article quoted Trump as saying. Then the writer carries the response to a wrong conclusion...an incorrect interpretation of Trump's diplomatic political response.
At least he did not say he would try to shove homosexuals into the closet again, although they might enjoy it if he did.

Well if you didn’t click on the article and didn’t watch the video to draw your own conclusions, why are you asking others what they think? WATCH the VIDEO and you will see this thread is just a hit piece on Trump and has nothing to do with Les/Gay rights or otherwise. He simply said that we all have to heal the divided nation. He spoke strongly on the Heroin problem in New Hampshire and its cause coming from the open border in the south.

"When President Trump is in office, can we look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians?"
"Well, you can. "
Seems like a pretty straightforward question and answer to me.

It's right there:
"Can we look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians?" Here is Trump's response:
"Well, you can."

Yes he does.
He answered her detailed question in the undeniable affirmative.
Drive-BY candidate Trump has always been for “gay rights.”
