Rubio’s answer was great...It doesn’t make him a desirable candidate. It was merely stating the obvious. Acknowledging a fair statement is a far cry for making him a desirable leader.
While we all think Onambla is an idiot (and he is), the fact remains that he has driven his agenda forward into the mess we have now.
The problem for Rubio is that he could not take a good series of lines, and improvise enough to make his point without it seeming to be a canned response, which is where Christie nailed him.

Got no problem with trump IF he deconstructs the destruction of obamaumao, who is NOT incompetent (as trump says) but has deliberately carried out his marxists agenda of destroying our American liberties, rights and institutions. Recognizing the marxist/socialist orientation of 8 years of obamaumao would be a good start. Continuing the “gibsmedat” 4 trillion dollar entitlement federal budget, and “taking care of everybody” by an even larger ego, well— that would not be even remotely conservative.
Look to Bloomberg to split the assumed “Bernie” vote vs. Sanders and thus throw the election in the House of Representatives. Or vs. Biden for that matter.
Guns, God, and Country— that is what will determine the elected.
