The Evangelic vote is about 20% of the electorate. Half of those like Trump. Cruz isn’t going to get elected with 10% of the electorate and no other group likes him. Even for those who LOVE him and his preachy lawyereeze, it is NOT gonna happen! It’s going to take some dems and lots of independents to win this thing.
Then explain Cruz’s second place in almost every poll? Obviously it’s not just evangelicals and charismatics that like him.

It’s a fact. And while there’s plenty of religious folks in those groups, Cruz’s holier than thou style is a non starter.
