What this does show is that Trump is perfectly willing to break the law if it saves him some money, and that his current position (a Yuuge Wall!) is a flip-flop from his long-standing position on the matter.
A Contractor hired them, and paid them the prevailing minimum wage, which was $4 an hour, they wanted 5$ an hour. Oh the horror.

Everyone knows that Polish immigrants aren’t the problem.
The Polish workers were not paid regular wages, and they tried to scam them out of what little they earned. The workers had to sleep on the site and didn’t even have hard hats. This is about someone who will treat people like cattle to get a few more dollars in his pocket. Whether it happened thirty years ago or yesterday, it’s simply wrong.
Trump didn’t hire these people a contractor did. If a contractor works on your house are you accountable for who he hires?
If he had actually done the hiring, then by all means, we should get in our time machine go back and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, whatever that was 30 years ago,
He was actually hiring virtually all-foreign workers for his places even in 2010. As for the illegals, they’re a little hard to keep track of.
