VANITY: IMO, Trump's line of the night was "Believe me, they will do what I tell them...believe me."

Relax. He has guys like Sessions to cool his jets of enthusiasm. He said he respects generals like Patton and MacArthur.

“Thuggery” is the word that popped into my head. Trump is suggesting that he is every bit the urban provincial as everyone else from the Upper East Side or wherever he is from. It might be how it works in the mobbed-up NYC construction union world, Pyonyang, and Tehran, but not here.

Based on what I’ve read, TPP is the kiss of death for this country. We lose our sovereignty.

Why wouldn’t they? Obama has had his way for nearly 8 years from both parties. Why not Trump?

At least Trump will DO...Not just talk like all the professional politicians we’ve had for the last 25 years...

If you just want the old status quo, just stay with the politicians...If you want action, go with a person who has always DONE things, not just talk about them...

A real leader doesn’t have to threaten.

The military have a long history of following orders unless the orders are illegal. That will not change. But Trump can change what is legal. Once some new rules of engagement are installed the military will have additional options (still within the bounds of the legal). And Trump is right, they will follow them.

“The country is craving a TRUE LEADER that will return absolute power & strength to America and “deep-six” this PC nonsense . . .”

Absolute power. That's the last thing I want the president or the federal government to have. It's the last thing I want Trump supporters to have.

Yeah and I’m afraid of what he will do since he only became a conservative about the time he thought about running for President.

He knows what he has seen Obama get away with and he will do it too. Like two wrongs make a right. I don’t want a Republican dictator any more than I want a Democrat dictator.

Agree.

That’s actually not leadership. It’s tyranny. Our system of government is designed specifically to prevent tyranny.

Trump is not a conservative, liberal, democrat or republican...Trump is a businessman...A successful businessman. he has spent his life building successful businesses here in America and employing thousands, both Americans and immigrants.

he has seen what has happened to our country over the last several years and not only does he love our country, he also loves the business empire he has built...His businesses will go downhill just as this country is going downhill...He has seen the do nothing politicans sit back and let this happen all the while padding their own pockets at the expense of not only him and his businesses, but to a greater percentage, the American people...

The only place he sees that he can change the country for the good of not only his businesses, but for the American people is through leadership and that means the presidency...
No, Trump is conservative...he is no politician...he is an American...

Waterboarding was stopped via Obama's executive order.

See the articles I posted. One by Scalia and Obama's EO.
