Cruz is all about ambition.
FRiend, so much corruption has been exposed in the last several months. Mostly, thanks to Donald Trump btw. It should by now be clear to everyone, but especially to FReepers that our country and freedoms have been stolen from us and that we have to get them back now, before it’s too late. No doubt Ted Cruz should play a role in that fight, but not as the leader. It’s so obvious that Trump is the leader in this fight. Nobody was addressing the crucial issues we are dealing with now until after Trump blazed the trail to make it safe to talk about. And you know that’s true.
Good for Trump! I can’t watch another ridiculous debate. The moderators are repellent.
Trump never talks about individual rights, freedom or the Constitution. All the important issues that Trump has brought to the fore have been discussed for many years by guys like Cruz.
As I said, there is a role for Cruz, but the leadership role belongs to Trump.
As a Constitutional conservative, I understand very little about which Trump speaks. Single payer, people dying in the streets, making deals with Schumer and Pelosi, etc. I do not understand how this guy will improve America.
Cruz has been a failure at the debates. Really, some of the candidates that left early were far more effective debaters.
Cruz’s style isn’t likable. He is overly dramatic and is off putting. People want a brawler this time, not a lawyerly arrogant orator who bores the crap out of them.
I disagree. I do not believe that what has transpired could reasonably be called “debates”. It has been a series of disjointed statements by sundry, distracted voices. The few times that Ted began to pin Trump down on issues, Cruz made mincemeat of him.
The potential of a relentless cross-examination by Cruz has caused Trump, reasonably, to cower in fear and run for the hills. Why allow a forum which would strip the veils from the eyes of many of his fanatics?
He’s talking about getting our country back into the hands of the people. That is our imperative right now. Once we have that back, then, and only then, can work on getting our liberty back. We have GOT to take this Establishment out. They’ve sold our country right out from under us.
How so? It sounds as if he is all about getting our country back into the hands of Trump. The man NEVER talks about limited government, the cornerstone of America. I suggest you Trumpsters start listening for all he does NOT say. Trump’s speeches are nothing like Ronald Reagan’s. Reagan uplifted you! Trump, at his best, infuriates you.
