No, get him over 1237 please! Concessions from the beginning put him in a weaker position to change the party. The party has to be destroyed, burned to the ground and from its ashes a better one built
VPs, don’t deliver states; or did I miss the big win in Wisconsin last cycle.
She’s not a good enough talker for a presidential campaign in my opinion. I’m sure others disagree. It’s just my opinion.
I really can’t see either Cruz or Kasich accepting VP slot. If Cruz loses this year he will return to the Senate and gear up for 2020 and Kasich will return to Ohio. My VP money is on “little Marco Rubio” to attract Latinos and get some OJT for replacing Trump in 2024.
More “hopey changy” wanting to see virtue in pure narcissism.
We’ve seen this nightmare play out before, no thanks.
Too much bad blood between Trump & Cruz, I think. Might have worked with Kasich and anybody else.
I also used to support a Trump/Cruz ticket. But Cruz has gone to far. Besides is he a nbc? His linking with Romney, Graham, etc. would make him unacceptable to many Trump supporters. Then there is Beck.
Either Rubio (Florida) or Kasich (Ohio). Generic republican nominee needs both state. Nailing one down allows you to focus on the other.
Trump is a wildcard candidate. He could win a few Dem states and throw all the usual projections out the window.
Cruz supporter here. I don’t think Trump has to do this. He is presently in the drivers seat. If push comes to shove I believe Trump and Cruz will work together and get it done. They will easily be able to freeze out the establishment. If they don’t let their egos get in the way...
Very neat out of the box thinking.
>>>My chief thought is that it keeps Kasich and Cruz in and at each others throats as they will have to campaign against each other for sure shot VP
That’s possible. But..
The logical response would be for both to support Trump and then neither has an advantage. If you’re thinking the advantage goes to the one with the most delegates, then Cruz wins automatically, no competition.
It would be more logical for Cruz and Kasich to team up and defeat Trump to their mutual benefit.
Now all this assumes either of them would want to be V.P. You’re scenario assumes both would want to be Veep and VP for Trump.
That’s my take, FWIW...
It might just happen..
