You missed the point. Cruz had the opportunity to disavow the ad and did not take. Rather, when Trump rightly defended his wife, Cruz attempted to make his wife and himself the victim.
Cruz and his wife are victims here too though. There is no evidence that Cruz is illegally coordinating with an anti-Trump PAC. None. Trump had the opportunity to go after the SUperPac. He chose to instead go after Cruz’s wife and when caught has chosen to call Cruz a liar with no evidence whatsoever.
