no need for spotter and sniper, just set up automatic Century mini guns every 1000 yards and the check them weekly to reload.

I think it should combine all of the best features of the Berlin Wall, the DMZ, and the Great Wall of China.

How about a wall like this?
They can put tacos, burritos, and tamales in their side, and we can put dollars in our side.

Way to go Ted. “limited, linear thinking”...I like that.

You don’t even have to shoot them. Use the new pain ray guns. I hear they are very effective.

Ya know, there are MANY people who say that Trump is nuts if he thinks that Mexico will pay for the wall.
I'm a Cruz supporter, and I say there are MANY ways the U.S. can get Mexico to pay for the wall.
I'll entertain two, and maybe more if there are bets.

Build the wall and reinstate the crusaders to patrol our borders.

Some of the Rio Grande in Texas doesn't necessarily need a fence due to the canyons. But on
towards the Gulf of Mexico there are two major lakes, flatter county and it becomes a question
as to how and where do you place this wall. How much private property will be needed for it, etc.
I know private property is used/taken all the time from citizens for roads, utilities, etc. The
Texas/Mexico boundary is essentially the middle of the Rio Grande

the problem with a design contest is if you get a lot of “designers” rather than builders, it may look great but not be feasible. I’d rather bid the job out to somebody who knows how to build stuff like that.

Requirement #1 is wall cannot be disabled with the flip of a switch because succeeding administrations will merely TURN IT OFF in seconds.
Useless features then include watch towers, detection sensors, patrols, spotters and drones. Those are complete junk. The only wall that has no turn off switch is in China. It is big and wide with no on/off switch.
Therefore, the only mandatory Trump wall requirement is build it tall and indestructable.
TRUMP WALL REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory
1) Tall
2) Indestructable
Trivial Low Priority Avoidances aka Weak Links
A) People & Electronics
eg Watch towers, detection sensors, patrols, spotters and drones.
Secretary, please send a copy of these wall requirements to Donald J Trump.
Thank You

Two parallel fences, with some of these "monitoring" the space in between. We don't need to pay staff to man the wall. We don't need to feed the "monitors," as the would-be illegals will take care of that.
Where do I pick up my $5000 ?
