“What I have decided, however, is that if Trump is denied the nomination, I am done with the Republicans.”

I think this is the problem right here. Trump or Cruz or I’m done with the Republicans. Do any of us want anything to do with the Republicans even if our guy wins? It’s looking more and more like America needs a new political party to rise from these ashes, an unlikely scenario. I hear a lot of people talking about how their guy will get things done once ensconced in the Oval Office. Without Congress acting in a Constitutional way, you won’t have the kind of government the Constitution lays out...the kind of government we are all so hungry for. What you will have (with Trump) is probably more leading by Executive Orders (something we all decry with Obammy) or massive compromise which will not give any of us what we really want—just a taste, but not anything approaching what America needs. If it’s Cruz, well, we know they hate him in Congress, so the likelihood is he won’t be getting much done, either. At the end of the day, Constitutional authority will not result from this election. And that, my friends, is what is ailing America most of all.

The Republican Party isn’t going away, isn’t ceding power to any outsider who assumes the “figurehead” seat of the presidency. The corruption that has swept through Washington is too great, the bureaucracy too bloated, the tentacles too entwined.

My gut tells me that this election is all about driving the final nail in the coffin of America. True conservatives are being divided, driven into separate camps, devouring one another while nearly half of our country, an unsustainable percentage of Americans, having so desperately lost their way, make plans to play the lottery one last time.
