Ted’s Hypocrisy is ABOUT to Derail His Candidacy

Whether you like Heidi Cruz or (because of Goldman Sachs) dislike her, there is zero question, she has become a victim in what is shaping up to be a very ugly campaign assault on her husband's character. Heidi is just another victim in a long line of famous politician wives who have had to endure the public humiliation of cheating husbands. Probably the most famous are Hillary Clinton, Jacquelin Kennedy, Ike's wife Mamie and Eleanor Roosevelt. All of these revered First Ladies (yes even Hillary was liked early on) had to endure the hardship of smiling in public all the while having their hearts ripped out by their philandering spouses.

[[Hulk Hogan just won $115 million from Gawker. It can be done.]]

Sure it can be done- but it’s extremely hard, rime consuming, and very very costly to do so- and the courts almost always side with the the scandal rags- almost always-

But what if he decides not to? Does that make him automatically guilty? (Hint- president Bush was accused of having an affair with Condi Rice and didn’t sue- and practically every president has been slimed by similar false accusations and didn’t sue either- were they all guilty too?

I think Trump probably HAS read the Bible more than the others. It fits his personality. And ive never seen a shred of proof that he hasn’t. Just a few holier than thou types sniffing that “it just CAN’T be true!”

There’s an interesting package resting on the bed next to the selfie photographer. Best guess so far: an item politely referred to in some circles of society- as a “candy wrapper.” YMMV

“Well, unless the National Enquirer says otherwise, right?”

They haven’t accused Trump and Melania. And I promise you, they and Megyn have been looking hard. They cant even find any of his ex wives or employees to speak ill of him.

national enquirer = david kendall = the clintons. do not blame trump. hillary doesn’t want cruz to win the nod because she is certain she can beat trump.

hillary is stirring the pot to cause division amongst the repubs, and hopefully taint the man she does not want to face in the general election - cruz.

[[ My point is that if he lets this “fall through the cracks” it will rear its head later,]]

By who? People who hate him anyways and hwo will raise it again EVEN IF he’s found not guilty? I’m sure he isn’t worried about those folks- nothing he says will ever satisfy their bloodlust

[[”Since I have been married, I have never had sex outside of my marriage, this article is completely wrong and I am working on a lawsuit to address this as we speak. These women do not deserve to be run through the ringer for these patent lies.”]]

Should he memorize this word for word in order to be declared innocent? Sorry for hte sarcasm- but as already pointed out nothing he says wil lbe accepted- you do realize people will simply accuse him of lying right?

You all point elsewhere.

The bribery payoff was from a PAC for Cruz
to a Cruz GF.
AND a Cruz GF lies about Dr. Carson for some
of that ‘old Cruz fraud’ which has permeated
this election.

[[national enquirer = david kendall = the clintons. do not blame trump.]]

Not saying there is a connection, but the NE also = a fella who is friends with Donald and the Ne has declared they are in the sack with trump declaring their support for him- IF trump didn’t order this then it is possible the NE did it on their own to destroy Ted and promote trump

You may be right- perhaps it’s her doing it- but we can ‘t rule out trump either-

They haven’t accused Trump and Melania.

But, my point is, if the Enquirer did run such a story it would be true, right?

Just like when they ran the story that Sarah Palin was cheating on Todd. That, too, must have been true.

I’m just observing and waiting for a candidate to be awarded the nomination.

The hypocrisy is rampant on both sides of this issue.

Which is all too familiar.

While many would like to see that happen, it’s not likely for two reasons.

US libel and slander laws are such that it is almost impossible for a public person to obtain satisfaction in court.

First a plaintiff must prove that the slanderer KNEW that the allegations were untrue and proceeded willfully anyway, with the intent to cause harm. The recklessness element usually available to plaintiffs is not available to public persons.

Second, you can be sure that this article was thoroughly vetted by NE lawyers and tweaked to make sure that there are no actual assertions of fact against Ted Cruz. I read the article standing in line at the supermarket over the weekend and was struck by how little the article actually managed to say. There’s probably nothing in there that is actionable, since the NE never actually says Cruz did ANY of these things.

It’s all nothing but vile spew. And, the only named source for any of it is Trump henchman, Roger Stone. That’s just about the only real fact alleged.

Why doesn’t Stone sue the NE if he wasn’t the source of the spew?

But what if he decides not to?

This argument assumes that he did not do this. Right now, only he and the women in question know that. But, this is politics and it is out there. There is enough tidbits to pique peoples interest and raise some doubt. As hard as it is to swallow, there is plenty of people who think he did this.

The only way to eliminate their doubt is via the legal route. I know that if it were me, I would be categorically denying it in no uncertain terms. I would want to save my marriage and reputation. I would be so angered that I would want vengeance.

Trump would do better against Hillary than Cruz ever could, because he's much more likely to attract crossover blue collar Democrats and independents than the more partisan and ideological Cruz.

But that's a completely moot point, because even if Cruz exceeds all expectations and wins most of the remaining primaries, he's going to fall short of the 1237 delegates necessary to win. That means a brokered convention where neither Cruz nor Trump will be the nominees, but rather a candidate of the RNC's choice like Mitt or Jeb. Cruz is just an attack dog who is helping the GOP get its brokered convention. Hillary seems to think that she'd do better against Trump than she would against Mitt or Jeb.

[[To say all of this happened without any hard evidence is absurd.]]

Are you getting a vibe that there actually is hard evidence? Or do you have hard evidence that there actually is hard evidence?

These people create a blog in order to trash Cruz on a site like FR where someone might actually see it.
