As someone who used to work as a clerk it would annoy me when I was asked(ordered) to walk a woman to her car. As if I’m Secrect Service and expected to take a bullet for a complete stranger.

I think that’s an over reaction. In gentlemanly to do it. Most rapists/muggers won’t attack a man and woman, but they would a woman walking alone at night. Chivalry is quickly dying. The femi-nazis don’t approve of it.
